Dot NET Domain Name Registrations
When the Dot NET generic top-level extension was first introduced in 1985, along with the first domains on the web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure firms. Because there were no specific rules about the usage of the top-level domain extension, though, dot NET domains were booked and used for different purposes and by a lot of people. This TLD represents a great substitute of dot COM, particularly if the wanted domain with the latter extension is not available for registration.
Purchasing a .NET domain name with our firm is a piece of cake and takes barely a couple of minutes, taking into consideration that we are partners with an ICANN-approved registrar firm. You can register such a domain for a period between 1 and 10 years, or, if you already have a domain, you can transfer it to our company and we will renew it after the transfer process is completed. Transfers are available for all domains, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have taken an EPP transfer key – security measures set up by the Registry organization to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can easily update the WHOIS contact information of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don't wish this information to be public at all, you can purchase a Whois Privacy Protection service, so nobody will be able to view your true contact information.
The dot NET top-level extension supports internationalized names, so you can select if you want to concentrate on a certain country or territory using a domain name in the regional language, or the global online community – using a generic English name.
